• C.A.T.A.L.E.S No kill shelter in Middletown Ct. - Staffed only by volunteers, C.A.T.A.L.E.S.has been extremely busy (adopting, fostering, trapping, etc.) since its inception in December 1998. The group was started by a few people who were concerned about the welfare of our feline friends & wanted to do something about it. Initially funded solely by the board of directors we have been receiving contributions through adoptions, gifts, & numerous fund-raising events. We also helped run a cat show recently at which, we found many loving homes for our cats.
• Abandoned Pet Rescue, Inc. - Abandoned Pet Rescue is an all volunteer, 501 (C)(3) not for profit organization, dedicated to rescuing and fostering abandoned pets and placing them in loving homes. Abandoned Pet Rescue gives medical attention to injured and sick animals, educates the public about responsible pet ownership and reduces the feral cat population through a rescue/neuter/adoption program.
• Angel Wings Cat Rescue and Sanctuary - Saving one life at a time Angel Wings is a non-profit, cage-free, no-kill shelter and sanctuary. A cat or kitten can be taken in if it is injured, pregnant, abused, sick or just unwanted. We rescue both feral cats and unwanted pets.
• Animal Resuce Coalition - Sarasota, Florida - At Animal Rescue Coalition (ARC), our mission is to end the killing of adoptable cats and dogs in Sarasota County. • Angel's Wish, Inc. - A Wisconsin based coalition of people who care for animals, Angel’s Wish has more than 200 years of combined experience providing for homeless animals. • Cat Action Trust 1977 - Cat Action Trust 1977 is a small national charity in the UK dedicated to the welfare of feral cats. We have an Executive Committee and 13 branches. Our policy is to help feral cats by limiting their numbers through neutering and returning to site, and by finding homes for kittens and tame stray cats. The charity is totally against killing for expediency. The charity's motto is:"A lifeline for feral cats". The charity is run entirely by volunteers, which means that the bare minimum is spent on administrative costs and almost all money donated is spent directly on the cats and their welfare.
